Crazy Spring

It's Spring in Utah. This means many things to me. I thought I'd mention just a few here on the blog. First of all , Spring means soccer season is upon us. We only have Jaxon to watch again this year but it is still really fun. This season, they aren't using refs for the youngest age teams. This means that the "game" is really just a glorified practice. I'm not really sure where the money is going that the parents pay for their child to be able to play. So far the kids behave and the coaches/refs are doing a good job.

Jaxon loves having the family here to watch him. Molly would watch the game and yell at the kids.
Yes, he scored here. Jaxon has got a real racket going. He has talked both of his grandmothers into giving him $1.oo for every goal he scores. He'll be able to make the house payment this month.

Spring in Utah also brings some crazy weather. Last night we had a huge wind storm. It sounded like someone was slamming doors all over the place and I even heard something hit one of the windows upstairs! We got up this morning to find our roof like this. What a mess!

At least the siding didn't blow off this time. It did blow off a few years ago. When I went out to take these pictures, as you can see, it was snowing. I am looking forward to some nicer weather and warmth.
